NBSD Mission Statement:
- To provide clients in earthquake prone regions with safe and reliable structures which are properly designed and built, and thus sustain limited damage in the aftermath of a potential extreme seismic event;
- To provide useful information to clients and to the public at large (through this website), so they can make informed decisions as to their seismic risk (related to where their structure is) and potential vulnerabilities (related to condition of structure).
- To provide agencies or governments in areas of high seismic risk anywhere in the world the tools (software, training, support, etc) required to identify, evaluate, and diminish their seismic vulnerabilities.
NBSD Software Library:
NBSD has created its own fully parametric and transparent analysis and design software for use in building, bridge, and earth retaining projects.
